The rooms are ready for occupancy from 03.00 pm. On the day of departure we ask you to vacate your room by 11.00 am.

Adapters are available from reception for a deposit of CHF 25.00.

Allergy sufferers

If you suffer from allergies, we also offer synthetic pillows and comforters as an alternative to our comforters. Swiss stone pine or barley pillows are also available at reception. If you suffer from food hypersensitivity, please contact our reception staff. We will be happy to pass your request on to the kitchen.

Panorama trail Muottas Muragl (summer)

The panorama trail, which is laid out as if by magic, takes you on a leisurely two-hour walk around the Schafberg.

Philosophers' trail Muottas Muragl

Let yourself be inspired by nature and the play of colors, as many philosophers once were. Sit down on one of the wooden benches to reflect.

Our staff at reception will be happy to provide you with information about public transport services. The Punt Muragl valley station bus stop is about a five-minute walk (100m) from the Punt Muragl valley station, directly in front of the La Terra 27 restaurant.

Room

If you notice any defects or damage in your room, please report them to reception. The damage will be repaired as quickly as possible.

Room card

The room card is used to activate the lights and is also your ticket to use the Muottas Muragl funicular. The entrance doors are switched to night mode from 11.00 pm. If you leave the hotel after 11 p.m., please take your room card with you. You can use it to open the main entrance via the bathroom switch on the left-hand side of the door. Please return the card after check-out.

Restaurant

Our panorama restaurant is open daily from 11.00 am to 10.00 pm; hot meals are available until 9.00 pm at the latest.
Reservations are welcome and can be made at reception or online.
The self-service restaurant Scatla - pront' a manger is open daily from 08.00 am - 05.00 pm.

The radio is integrated into your television.

Recycling

We collect waste paper as well as all other recyclable materials. If you have recyclable materials, please do not hesitate to hand them in to us.

Reading lamp

The reading light is located next to your bed and can be switched on and off using the small toggle switch on the lower fitting.

Since May 1^st, 2010, there has been a legal ban on smoking in public areas throughout Switzerland.

Segantini

The famous painter Giovanni Segantini died on September 28, 1899 at the age of 41 in the hut on the Schafberg that was later named after him. He was considered a master of the high mountain landscape and began painting in the open air at an early age.

Ski pass (winter)

In winter, the ski pass can be booked for CHF 47.00 per person and day for the entire stay, starting from one overnight stay.

A little higher up behind the Romantik Hotel Muottas Muragl is "SINE SOLE SILEO", the most accurate sundial in the world! In summer it functions as a sundial, in winter as an almost equally accurate lunar clock. Its construction is completely new. This makes it possible to read the time on "SINE SOLE SILEO" to an incredible accuracy of 10 seconds. It's best to see the accuracy of the clock for yourself.

Tea

We offer a wide range of teas from the Glattfelder company in our panorama restaurant. The Glattfelder company was founded in St. Moritz in 1931 and has since specialized in Iranian caviar and high-quality coffees and teas. The range also includes selected herbal teas, some of which are harvested in the Graubünden mountains.

Toboggan run (winter)

Length 4.2 km, 20 bends, 705 m difference in altitude, open from 09.30 to 16.00. Our hotel guests can hire sledges at reception. We recommend that you wear winter-proof clothing, good shoes and a ski helmet.

Train station

Punt Muragl train station
The Rhb Punt Muragl stop is a two-minute walk (100m) from the valley station of the cable car. This station is not served - stop on request - passengers on the train and on the platform must press the stop request button. Please note that not every train stops there.

Punt Muragl Staz station
This station is a 10-minute walk away and is not served. Passengers on the train must press the stop request button; the train driver on the platform checks whether passengers are waiting to board. Please note that not every train stops there.
