Before the thrilling descent, take the funicular railway up to the mountain station, where the starting point for this exhilarating thrill ride is located. Sledges for young and old can be hired at the valley station.
Safety first: to ensure that sledging remains a pleasure, wearing a helmet is recommended. Due to the challenging and fast track, this adventure is not suitable for beginners and small children. All the better that Muottas Muragl also has a large winter playground for children and many other wonderful experiences to offer.
Further safety instructions & rules of conduct for all daredevils:
- Appropriate winter clothing should be worn.
- Sturdy shoes with good tread (no ski boots!) are required.
- Ride considerately and according to your own ability.
- You may only ride sitting down (not lying down!).
- Sledges may not be tied together.
- You may only stop at the designated stopping points.
- Plastic sledges, racing sledges/toboggans and bobsleighs are prohibited.
In the event of an accident, please inform the SOS service at the Punt Muragl valley station: +41 81 842 65 89.
‘Ready to ride’: Depending on snow conditions, the Muottas Muragl sled run is open daily from 9.30 a.m. to 4 p.m. from December to March.
