Opening Hours Scatla
The Scatla is open daily from 8.00 am - 5.00 pm during our winter and summer seasons.
Opening Hours Panoramarestaurant
The Panoramarestaurant is open daily from 8.00 am - 11.00 pm during our winter and summer seasons.
- 12.00 to 4.00 pm, we serve fine dishes from our lunch menu.
- 4.00 to 6.00 pm, a selection of light snacks awaits you.
- 6.00 to 9.00 pm, we invite you to explore our varied and seasonal dinner menu.

Our Panoramaterrace is open from 8.00 am until sunset.

Winter
During the winter season, our Panoramaterrace is open from 12.00 pm until sunset.
Thanks to the direct connection to the funicular Muottas Muragl, you can check in at our Romantik Hotel Muottas Muragl between 15 and 22pm.
The reception is open during the winter and summer season as follows:
- Reception: 8 - 22 pm
- Check-in: 15 - 22 pm
- Check-out: 8 - 11 am
You can reach the Romantik Hotel, the panorama restaurant, the sun terrace and the Scatla restaurant at 2456 meters with the Muottas Muragl funicular. The cable car ticket is available for hotel guests at the cash desk at the Punt Muragl valley station and gives you unlimited rides up and down the mountain on the funicular.

TO THE PRICES
People with limited mobility should also be able to enjoy the magnificent mountain panorama without any problems. Due to the structural conditions of the funicular, which is over 111 years old, accessibility cannot be fully guaranteed. Detailed information on accessibility can be found in the ginto guide.

By public transport you can travel comfortably via the Rhaetian Railway (RhB) from Chur to Samedan station. From there you can take the train or bus to Punt Muragl valley station, from where the funicular takes you up to the Romantik Hotel Muottas Muragl in just 10 minutes.
PLANNING ARRIVAL
Arrival by car
For those arriving by car, free parking is available at the valley station Punt Muragl. You can enter ther following addresss into the navigation system: Punt Muragl 1, 7503 Samedan (if possible link to GoogleMaps for direct route calculation). By car you can comfortably reach the Engadin from anywhere in Switzerland, Italy, Germany or Austria.
- Zurich - Samedan: 200 km, 3 hours
- Milan - Samedan: 175 km, 3 hours
- Munich - Samedan: 300 km, 4 hours
- Basel - Samedan: 250 km, 4 hours
