On the 2nd of February 2023, the Muottas Muragl toboggan run will also be open in the evening. From 18.15 p.m. sledges can be rented and tickets purchased at the valley station. The fast-paced winter experience under the full moon takes place from 19 to 21.30 pm.
To perfectly round off the fun sledging experience, a fine fondue will be served at the Scatla restaurant on Muottas Muragl from 18 pm. Secure your table now and enjoy the delicious house cheese specialities from CHF 39 per person. Tickets are available at the ticket office at the valley station of the Muottas Muragl cable car. GA (General Abonnement SBB), Half-Fare Card, Reka Checks and Reka Cards are not accepted.
Realization
Depending on weather and snow conditions, we reserve the right to cancel the full moon sledding event for safety reasons. In case of cancellation we will inform you on this page from noon on.
Obligatory equipment and instructions
The toboggan run is not illuminated and leads in the lower part through dense forest. A headlamp is therefore recommended for night sledging.
The Muottas Muragl toboggan run is steep, peppered with challenging curves and long, fast straights. We therefore ask you to follow the following safety instructions and rules of conduct:
- Unsuitable for small children
- Helmet recommended
- Appropriate winter clothing and sturdy shoes with good tread required (no ski boots)
- Ski with consideration and according to your own ability
- Ride sitting down (not lying down), do not tie sleds together
- Stop only at the exhibition areas
- Plastic sleds, racing sleds/sleds and bobsleds are prohibited
